Australia nationals: Senior Project Officer (Water Planning)
The Senior Project Officer supports key processes that contribute to the successful development and implementation of statutory and non-statutory Water Planning processes including Water Allocation Plans and Water Affecting Activity Policies as outlined in the Regional Natural Resources Management Plan. The Officer will require the ability to research best NRM and water management practices to then make recommendations for regional and sub-regional planning. Excellent writing skills are required and the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse range of stakeholders and to facilitate stakeholder involvement in planning and projects.
Position is a full time contract for 2 years, based in Mount Gambier (SA).
Some out of hours work and intrastate travel involving overnight absences from home is required as part of the position.
A current drivers licence, and willingess to drive, is essential.
Remuneration is $80,830 to $89,897 per annum (ASO5).
