Wilson Water Group is looking for a junior to mid-level engineer to work with our team in Lakewood, Colorado. The firm has long-term clients in every basin in Colorado, and offers opportunities that are unique for a small water resources firm. Our projects include interstate compact planning and litigation; water rights analyses and water court support; basin-wide surface water simulation modeling; and watershed planning. The firm is looking for a staff engineer responsible for working closely with junior and senior staff on a broad array of water resources engineering and planning activities including: 

  • data collection, management, and interpretation
  • streamflow monitoring and consumptive use evaluations
  • river basin planning and modeling
  • water supply and demand forecasting
  • augmentation programs and hydrologic and water rights analyses

Candidate should ideally have between 2 to 7 years of experience; possess a proficient understanding of Colorado water rights; have strong written and verbal skills; understand GIS and database management; and have the ability to obtain professional engineering licensure.
