Do you have a passion for politics and the environment and want to join us in our fight to save our world? If so we have an opportunity for 2 Campaigns Interns to join our team from January and April 2020.

At WWF we have an exciting opportunity for a Campaigns Intern to gain valuable work experience as well as an insight into how a major international NGO working at the forefront of global conservation operates. We are looking for a committed intern to join the team recognised for running inspiring and effective campaigns on a wide range of environmental issues ranging from climate change to trade in endangered species.

WWF-UK’s current campaigns address some of the biggest threats to nature and biodiversity – the food system, unsustainable consumption and land management – bringing about changes in legislation and business practice through public pressure, business action and political advocacy. You will collaborate with colleagues to coordinate campaigns and help with a range of activities from carrying out research and briefings to writing copy and actioning web updates. You will also get involved in planning and organising projects and events as well as in producing reporting and internal comms. You will liaise with external stakeholders including agencies, supporters and other NGOs too.

This is a great chance to develop your skills in project and partnership management as well as in campaigning.

A proficient user of MSOffice, you will have experience or be able to demonstrate an interest in campaigning. Comfortable working as part of a team, you will be highly organised and good at planning and meeting deadlines. You will also possess strong communications skills and the ability to write and edit engaging content. You will be used to researching and scoping ideas too.

If you are super excited and passionate about gaining valuable work experience in a major international NGO we would love to hear from you. Please click on ‘Apply now’ to visit our website via the link, complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up to date CV with cover letter highlighting why you believe you are suited for the role.

Closing date for applications: 8th December 2019

Interviews Commence: From 16th December 2019

At WWF-UK we are committed to creating an inclusive working environment, where diversity is valued and there is equality of opportunity. We therefore welcome applications from all sections of the community and we offer a range of benefits to encourage a work life balance.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We’re looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
