WSUP believes that the private sector has a vital role to play in improving water, sanitation and hygiene services.

This role will focus on raising funds to support WSUP’s global enterprise development work, helping us to scale up existing business models and develop new market-based interventions.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of WSUP’s new business plan 2020 – 2025. This role will play a central part in WSUP’s growth and achievement of our overall objectives, supporting WSUP’s global funding strategy by managing existing and building new funding partnerships.

The role holder will work to significantly increase and diversify the organisation’s income base through engagement with funders interested in supporting WSUP’s work to develop social enterprises to contribute to systems change.

WSUP has supported over 100 enterprises to deliver water, sanitation and hygiene services and we see significant potential to scale up our work in enterprise development, with the support of new funding streams in this area.

The Partnerships Manager, Enterprise will work closely with the Head of Funding and the Innovation and Consumer Needs team to grow funding for WSUP. This will be achieved both through lead generation to identify and secure new partners, and developing and influencing relationships with current partners, to develop and increase their support.

The post holder will lead on development and implementation of funding strategies, including for revenue diversification and increased engagement with existing and prospective funders for these segments, both at an international and country level.
