What will you be getting up to?
You will provide vital inputs on groundwater modelling and other numerical / data-driven projects. These inputs will include data analysis and manipulation, as well as construction, calibration and processing of groundwater and contaminant transport models (principally MODFLOW and MT3D) for a variety of clients and purposes. You will also provide support to more junior team members to help develop the team, as well as checking other team members' work.
We will provide appropriate training and mentorship to assist you in developing your career in the way that best suits your skills and aspirations.
Have you got what it takes?
If you have experience working within water resources and have experience using groundwater modelling packages such as, MODFLOW and UK regional groundwater models, then this could be a great opportunity for you. You will also need to have the following qualifications and capabilities:
- MSc in hydrogeology, water resources or similar discipline
- Programming knowledge (VBA, Python, or other)
- Quantitative, organised, and with good attention to detail
- Experience in GIS would be advantageous
